Artist Statement

The idea of augmenting human bodies with electronics provokes simultaneous sentiments of admiration and fears of degrading society. To address this issue through my practice, I examine how machine perception converges with our embodied human experiences. In this inquiry, responsive electronic components and computer code become my sculptural media on par with silicone, plastics, and metals.

I share my passion for technology and fabrication through the electronic multisensory response in my sculptural installations. By evoking memorable experiences with multisensory narratives, I strive to create new sensory experiences with the current technology. As both a researcher and practicing artist, I investigate the cross-influencing of technology and art for their ability to foster creativity and build communities.
